DCI CS-309 Solvent Based Sealer
Description: Direct Colors CS-309 Solvent Based Concrete Sealer is a clear, ready-to-apply, non-yellowing liquid compound formulated from special acrylic polymers and quick-evaporating solvents that effectively cures and seals freshly poured concrete and can be used on both fully and partially-cured concrete. Direct Colors CS-309 Solvent Based Concrete Sealer meets maximum VOC content limits of 700 g/L for Concrete Curing and Sealing Compounds as required by the U.S. EPA Architectural Coatings Rule. Once properly applied, our sealer provides an impermeable seal for optimum moisture retention. This produces a hard, dense, high-compressive strength concrete. Direct Colors CS-309 Solvent Based Concrete Sealer will minimize hairline fractures as well as premature cracking, dusting, spalling and other common defects that result when concrete is not properly cured. This easy-to-use compound dries quickly and protects the concrete during construction. It resists the mortar adhesion and offers faster post-construction clean-up. It is also an excellent sealer for acid stained or integrally-colored concrete.

Coverage: 1 Gallon of Direct Colors CS-309 Solvent Based Concrete Sealer will cover 200 square feet applying 2 thin coats.

Application Method: Use an HVLP Sprayer, wax applicator or PADCO Floor Coater to apply a uniform film. Avoid pooling in low areas. A standard industrial-grade sprayer, equipped with a neoprene hose and gaskets, as well as a 9505-E spray tip (or equivalent) is recommended for best results.

Drying Time: Allow at 4-6 hours between coats and up to 24 hours before allowing foot or heavy traffic. Drying times may be extended depending on application rate, temperature, humidity and project conditions.
Application equipment should be cleaned promptly after use with Xylene or disposed of.
Environmental/VOC Regulations: With the exception of California, this sealer is available for use throughout the United States.
