Direct Colors Powdered Release is a colored powder that prevents stamping tools from sticking to concrete while also adding color. It is ideal for texturing applications and stands up to the effects of the sun. Direct Colors Powdered Release is applied to the concrete surface and to the texturing tool. A portion of the release becomes imbedded into the concrete, usually where there are indentions in the texturing tool, leaving behind an antiqued appearance.

Direct Colors Color Hardener is used in the construction of new concrete flatwork and floors. It should be troweled into the surface or imprinted using a texture mat and Liquid Release. Surfaces can be given the appearance of tile, brick or stone by using Liquid Release and DCI Liquid Colored Release, in a contrasting color. The color hardened surface can also be acid stained with Direct Colors Concrete Acid Stain, after the concrete has been allowed to properly cure .
