DESCRIPTION: SURE-STEP slip-resistant concrete sealer additive is a finely ground polymer material for addition to concrete sealers for slip resistance. This additive can be added to most film-forming water- and solvent-based sealers, including the CS-309™, SEAL CURE™ and VOCOMP® Series, as well as TIAH® and the DECRA-SEAL™ series from W. R. MEADOWS. Please consult sealer manufacturer prior to using, if using a product not listed above.

SURE-STEP provides improved chemical and abrasion resistance, and is more comfortable to bare feet on treated surfaces than sand or aggregate additives. The product’s low density and insolubility characteristics will help reduce settling and provide optimum performance in its various applications, without changing the viscosity. Due to its low density, SURE-STEP stays suspended in thin materials.

USES: SURE-STEP is perfect for use on areas where a slip-resistant surface is desired. This includes walkways, driveways, garage floors, patios and other surfaces.

COVERAGE: The 3.2 oz. container of SURE-STEP is recommended for addition to a one-gallon of sealer. The 16 oz. container is recommended for five-gallons sealers.

APPLICATION: Surface Preparation…Follow surface preparation directions of sealer being applied.

Stir, while adding SURE-STEP to the container of sealer. The product may float at first, but once it has wet out, it will mix in easily. In thinner products, occasional stirring during application may be required to keep the particles well suspended within the sealer. Distribute Sure Step by hand if using a sprayable sealer. Spray one layer of sealer before putting down Sure Step. Spray on a second layer of sealer on top of the slip additive. It is recommended that when mixing SURE-STEP into unfamiliar sealers, that a small test batch is mixed, followed by a small test application.

DESCRIPTION: VEXCON COATING REPAIR for sealers will effectively re-cast an existing coating or sealer, correcting application imperfections, such as bubbles and over applied thick coatings. Once corrected, the sealed floor will have a uniform appearance.

APPLICATION:Apply with a Direct Colors sealer applicator. Use a roller pan to remove excess Vexcon Sealer Repair liquid from the roller. Roll or pour and spread. Do not dip the applicator. Apply a thin coat to the affected area in a lapping motion to re-dissolve the surface film of the sealer. The repair liquid will re-dissolve the film, blending air bubbles and other imperfections. Heavy applications of sealer may require another treatment. Leave dry overnight with good ventilation. Do not apply in unventilated areas. Open windows and doors to the outside and take extra care in basements.

Rhodoline 226/35 is a non-foaming, water soluble anionic dispersant for exterior or interior flat and semi-gloss finishes. It is very effective in formulations containing zinc oxide.

Use Rhodoline 226/35 from 2.5 pounds per 100 gallons for vinyl acrylic flat formulations to 12 pounds per 100 gallons for acrylic semi-gloss formulations.

The optimum use level of Rhodoline 226/35 may be determined by the pigment dispersant demand method.
