All transit times are in business days only. There are no weekend deliveries for Fed-Ex / UPS Ground services. Direct Colors Inc. ships from Shawnee, Oklahoma near Oklahoma City.
Shipping is free for all orders shipped within the contiguous United States except for orders of 10 boxes or more of concrete overlay . (Free Shipping excludes Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and other US Territories).
Orders weighing less than 200 pounds are generally shipped within 24 hours. If an order is placed before 2 p.m. CST, it is generally shipped out the same day. Orders made later will usually be shipped the next day. The majority of orders will be shipped via FedEx/UPS Ground Service.
Example: An order is placed in Miami, FL at 7:00 pm on a Thursday. The order will be shipped out the next day and will be in transit Monday, Tuesday, and arriving sometime on Wednesday.
Orders with a combined weight of over 200 lbs. will be shipped by freight and are handled differently. All orders over 200 lbs will go out Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) Freight on Fed-Ex Freight Regional/Long-haul Service. This requires an 18-wheeler delivery truck, and there will be additional charges for residential/home delivery. Fed-Ex Freight service is a very reliable and speedy service with 2-day service to a large majority of the country.
Package Damage or Loss: Damage to packages, although a rare occurrence, does happen. Direct Colors Inc. provides the claims resolution service when damage occurs. Re-shipment will occur as soon as a final determination by the shipping company is made. While we make every effort to see that packages are delivered in a timely manner, we have no control over the shipment after it leaves our facility. Tracking numbers are provided by email to allow customers the opportunity to follow the progress of their packages online.
5 Gallons Containers of Acid Stain Shipped by Ground: 5 gallons containers of acid stain require a signature when delivered due to the product’s hazardous nature. The product will not be left at the door without a signature. Arrangements must be made to be present for delivery.
For Freight Delivery, special services such as Residential Delivery and Liftgate Services will be paid by the customer. This does not apply to small package delivery.
