“I was looking to redo our basement floor. It appeared to have a sealer on it. I preferred a very light Gray semi transparent stain or dye. I used the Silver Gray Tinted Water Based Sealer, Stormy Gray and Basic White Concrete Dye, DCI water based sealer and Commercial wax. They came out great!! Went with 4 coats of wax. I was surprised how little of the clear sealer it took…. maybe 1.5 gal for 2 coats on 1400+ sq ft. Tommy, thanks for the guidance!”

“Coffee Brown acid stain with DCI Water-Based Concrete Sealer with Commercial Concrete Floor Polish and Wax. Floor turned out better than I could have imagined. Originally was going to carpet our basement but after looking at your product, we decided to go the acid stain route. An acid stained basement floor was the best decision I made. Of all the many, many projects I have done over the years, this by far was the most impressive!”

“Just wanted to extend my gratitude to you. Through my acid staining process you were very helpful and very honest. I spoke with Frank about my acid stain project and he advised me on some design elements and boy, did my patio come out good for my first time doing this. Next I will be doing my master bed and bath so I am sure you will be hearing from me again.”

“No matter what walks in or out, you just do a damp mop and it’s ready to go. A really easy to maintain floor. We used acid stain in the entire house. Every closet, every floor, bedrooms and kitchen. We put a few throw rugs in. I acid stained the whole interior of my 2000 square foot house for about $500-600. To carpet and tile it, it would’ve been about $5,000. And it’s pretty much bulletproof. Been on over a year, and I’ve re-waxed it one time. It looks perfect. Everybody just marvels about our acid stained floors. They can’t believe it. With new construction concrete, it works very well if you protect it. It’s excellent. I would recommend it to anybody. I also enjoyed working with Direct Colors on the project. It was real good experience, no sales tax and free delivery. We had delivery the next day, and it wasn’t expensive.”
